Type specimen: AMNH 28337, a valve (Left valve). Its type locality is Willow Creek, Lander, Fremont County, which is in a Kungurian marine limestone in the Park City Formation of Wyoming.

Distribution:

• Permian of Mexico (1 collection), United States (9: Arizona, Texas, Utah, Wyoming)
