Type specimen: UCM 1141/1142. Its type locality is Union Chapel Mine, which is in a Westphalian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale/sandstone in the Pottsville Formation of Alabama.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution: found only at Union Chapel Mine
