Type specimen: USNM 447522, a pygidium. Its type locality is USNM728f, Victorio Canyon, Sierra Diablo, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal limestone in the Bone Spring Formation of Texas.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at USNM728f, Victorio Canyon, Sierra Diablo
