Type specimens:
- Intrasporeocoelia hubeiensis: Thin section O292. Its type locality is Jiantianba Reef, Section J, Lichuan, which is in a Changhsingian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
- Intrasporeocoelia laxa: xb33-3-9.
