Type specimen: SAS 92/4, a shell. Its type locality is Picnic Point, False Bay (between locality 83 and 84), which is in a Coniacian marine siltstone in the St Lucia Formation of South Africa.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Average measurements (in mm): shell diameter 148.5

Distribution: found only at Picnic Point, False Bay (between locality 83 and 84)
