Type specimens:

  • Asiadapis cambayensis: GU/RSR/VAS-6, a mandible (right dentary with P3-M2 and alveoli for C, P2, and M3). Its type locality is Vastan Lignite Mine, which is in a Ypresian lagoonal siltstone/claystone in the Cambay Shale Formation of India.
  • Suratius robustus:

Ecology: arboreal omnivore

Distribution: found only at Vastan Lignite Mine
