Type specimen: ISI R152, a skull (nearly complete skull). Its type locality is northwest of Kallamedu village, which is in a Maastrichtian lacustrine - small sandstone/claystone in the Kallamedu Formation of India.

Ecology: amphibious omnivore

Distribution: found only at northwest of Kallamedu village
