Type specimen: AMNH 30008, a skull (Complete skull without lower jaws). Its type locality is Sidi Daoui, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial phosphorite in Morocco.
Ecology: amphibious omnivore
Distribution: found only at Sidi Daoui
