Type specimen: AMNH 30521, a partial skull (partial skull, lacking palate and basicranium, and lower jaw). Its type locality is Ouled Abdoun Basin Recette 4, which is in a Danian marine phosphorite in the Couche 2 Formation of Morocco.
Ecology: amphibious omnivore
Distribution: found only at Ouled Abdoun Basin Recette 4
