Type specimen: IVPP V11652, a tooth (left M2). Its type locality is Chengbihu Reservoir, which is in an Eocene fluvial mudstone in the Gongkang Formation of China.
Ecology: arboreal omnivore
Distribution: found only at Chengbihu Reservoir
