Type specimen: IMM 99NM-BYM-3/3, a skull. Its type locality is SBDE Quarry 99BM-III, which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Bayan Mandahu Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at SBDE Quarry 99BM-III
