Type specimen: TMP 95.166.1, a partial skull. Its type locality is 5 km west of Royal Tyrrell Museum, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone/sandstone in the Horseshoe Canyon Formation of Canada.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Canada (5: Alberta collections)
