  • Pentasauropus incredibilis: LES 054 1, 2, a footprint. Its type locality is Seobeng tracksite (zone A/4), which is in a Sinemurian terrestrial sandstone in the Clarens Formation of Lesotho.
  • Pentasauropus erectus: LES 056-058, a footprint. Its type locality is Race Course tracksite, Maseru (zone A/3), which is in a Carnian terrestrial sandstone in the Molteno Formation of Lesotho.
  • Pentasauropus maphutsengi: LES 055, a footprint. Its type locality is Maphutseng II tracksite (zone A/4), which is in a Norian/Rhaetian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Elliot Formation of Lesotho.
  • Pentasauropus morobongensis: Its type locality is Morobong tracksite (Zone A/1), which is in a Carnian/Norian terrestrial sandstone in the Molteno Formation of Lesotho.
  • Pentasauropus motlejoi: Its type locality is Seaka-Falatsa tracksite (zone A/3), which is in a Norian terrestrial sandstone in the Elliot Formation of Lesotho.
  • Tetrasauropus gigas: Its type locality is Seaka tracksite (zone A/3), which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian terrestrial sandstone in the Elliot Formation of Lesotho.
