Type specimen: IRSNB m.1928, a skull. Its type locality is Verrebroek dock (Kruisschans Member), which is in a Piacenzian marine claystone in the Lillo Formation of Belgium.
Ecology: aquatic piscivore
Distribution: found only at Verrebroek dock (Kruisschans Member)
