Type specimen: HUJP 12020, a skeleton (almost complete specimen). Its type locality is Wadi el Malih, which is in a Berriasian pond shale/tuff in the Tayasir Formation of Israel.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Wadi el Malih
