Type specimen: BNM Bchs 495, a mandible (right dentary that preserves the last premolar and three molars). Its type locality is Bouxwiller, which is in a Lutetian terrestrial marl in France.

Ecology: arboreal omnivore

Distribution: found only at Bouxwiller
