Type specimen: Naturhistorisches Museum Wien Inv.-Nr. 1980/25, a partial skeleton (part and counterpart of incomplete skeleton with both wings and fragments of ribs). Its type locality is Traun-Pucking, which is in an Aquitanian offshore claystone in the Ebelsberg Formation of Austria.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Traun-Pucking
