Sister taxon: Boutersemia parvula
Type specimen: IRScNB Av 41, a limb element (distal part of left tarsometatarsus). Its type locality is Boutersem TGV, which is in a Rupelian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Borgloon Formation of Belgium.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Boutersem TGV
