Type specimen: RE 551.763.31 A 1323/21. Its type locality is Steinbruch Rauen, Kassenberg Quarry, Mülheim/Ruhr, which is in a Cenomanian shallow subtidal limestone in Germany.
Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal photosymbiotic-suspension feeder

• Cretaceous of France (2 collections), Germany (3), Iran (1), Spain (2)
