Sister taxa: Fluvioviridavis michaeldanielsi, Fluvioviridavis nazensis
Type specimen: SMNK.PAL.2368a+b, a skeleton (nearly complete, slightly dissociated skeleton). Its type locality is Tynsky Quarry, which is in a Wasatchian lacustrine - large limestone in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Tynsky Quarry
