Type specimen: FMNH PR2260, a skeleton (nearly complete and mostly articulated skeleton). Its type locality is Tynsky Quarry, which is in a Wasatchian lacustrine - large limestone in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Tynsky Quarry
