Type specimen: JK 11492, a shell (internal mold of left valve). Its type locality is Foum Belrem Section, northern margin of the western Hoggar Mountains, which is in a Gorstian carbonate limestone in the Oued Ali Clay Formation of Algeria.
Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Silurian of Algeria (2 collections), Czechia (1)
