Type specimen: MEF 1363, a partial skeleton (associated partial skeleton wing and leg bones and a few fragments of the skull). Its type locality is Punta Buenos Aires, which is in a Miocene coastal mudstone/limestone in the Puerto Madryn Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: volant carnivore

Distribution: found only at Punta Buenos Aires
