Type specimen: IVPP V10916, a partial skeleton (part and counterpart of a skull, vertebrae, pair of complete forelimbs and coracoids, scapulae, sternum and rib fragments). Its type locality is Beishan Quarry (Upper Shale Layer), which is in an Aptian lacustrine shale in the Jiufotang Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Beishan Quarry (Upper Shale Layer)
