Type specimen: IVPP V9934, a partial skeleton (vertebral column, ribs, pelvis, femur, and tibiotarsus). Its type locality is Beishan Quarry, Boluochi, which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Beishan Quarry, Boluochi
