Sister taxon: Gephyrostegus bohemicus
Type specimen: DMSW B 65, a partial skeleton (partial skull with girdles and limbs). Its type locality is Nyrany, which is in a Westphalian D lacustrine coal in the Kladno Formation of the Czech Republic.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Nyrany
