Type specimen: CAGS02-IG-gausa-2/DM 608, a skeleton (Nearly complete skeleton). Its type locality is Daohugou (IVPP collection), which is in a Callovian lacustrine - large shale/tuff in the Tiaojishan Formation of China.

Ecology: volant piscivore

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (IVPP collection)
