Sister taxon: Sinopterus gui

Type specimen: IVPP V13363, a skeleton (Nearly complete skeleton). Its type locality is Lamagou, Dongdadao, Chaoyang, which is in an Aptian lacustrine horizon in the Jiufotang Formation of China.

Ecology: volant frugivore-piscivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of China (2 collections)
