Type specimen: IGM 3494, a partial skeleton (articulated partial skeleton including posterior part of skull, four cervical vertebrae, scapulocoracoids, left humerus, partial right wing, and partial right l). Its type locality is Pterosaur, Huizachal Canyon, which is in a Pliensbachian floodplain horizon in the La Boca Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Pterosaur, Huizachal Canyon
