Type specimen: MNHN-F-B47541 (Holotype). Its type locality is Saint-Gaultier, Creuse Valley, which is in a Bathonian perireef or subreef limestone in France.
Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal photosymbiotic-suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Saint-Gaultier, Creuse Valley
