Sister taxa: Meganotocrinus konincki, Meganotocrinus princeps, Pentadia corona
Type specimen: ANU 35048, a calyx (Incomplete cup with attached brachials). Its type locality is Selby's Rock, Broger's Creek, Kangaroo Valley, which is in a Wordian marine siliciclastic in the Berry Formation of Australia.
Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Selby's Rock, Broger's Creek, Kangaroo Valley
