Type specimen: NEWHM G.26.49, a partial skeleton (skull and tail missing). Its type locality is Middridge, Durham, which is in a Wuchiapingian coastal claystone in the Marl Slate Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Middridge, Durham
