Type specimen: INGEO-PI No. 691 Vi82. Its type locality is Quebrada Gustavo section, Sierra de Villicúm, which is in a Darriwilian open shallow subtidal lime mudstone/wackestone in the San Juan Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore
