Sister taxa: Ctenoceras schmidti, Ctenoceras verticillatum
Type specimen: TUG 46-146, a shell. Its type locality is Osmussaar Island, which is in a Lasnamagi open shallow subtidal limestone in the Väo Formation of Estonia.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Osmussaar Island
