Type specimen: KMNH VP 200,004, a limb element (left femur). Its type locality is Ainoshima Island, which is in a Chattian marine sandstone in the Ainoshima Formation of Japan.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Ainoshima Island
