Belongs to Boochoerus according to F. B. Loomis 1932
Sister taxa: Daeodon humerosus, Daeodon shoshonensis, Ammodon bathrodon
Type specimen: Amherst College Museum 31-105, a set of postcrania (two almost complete front feet). Its type locality is Boochoerus angustus type locality, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in South Dakota.
Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore
Distribution: found only at Boochoerus angustus type locality
