Type specimen: NMW 88.30G.68, a partial shell (phragmocone). Its type locality is Dan-lan-y-castell Quarry, Llangynog, which is in a Moridunian transition zone/lower shoreface mudstone in the Ogof Hen Formation of the United Kingdom.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Dan-lan-y-castell Quarry, Llangynog
