Sister taxon: Mesodmops dawsonae
Type specimen: IMM-2004-SB-013, a tooth (right m1). Its type locality is Subeng Unit 3 (Mammal Site), which is in a Gashatan fluvial-lacustrine conglomerate in the Nomogen Formation of China.
Ecology: arboreal omnivore
Distribution:
• Paleocene of China (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
