Type specimen: CGM 42197, a skull (crushed cranium with right and left C-M3). Its type locality is Quarry L-41 (Jebel Qatrani Formation), which is in a Rupelian lacustrine mudstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.
Ecology: scansorial herbivore
Distribution: found only at Quarry L-41 (Jebel Qatrani Formation)
