Type specimen: IVPP V10695-1, -2, a skull (crushed skull and left mandible). Its type locality is Changle Coal Mine, which is in an Eocene terrestrial coal in the Wutu Formation of China.
Ecology: arboreal herbivore

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
