Type specimen: IVPP V 12378, a partial skull (Incomplete skull with mandible occluded). Its type locality is north bank of Sangbi Creek, which is in a Ladinian/Carnian terrestrial sandstone in the Tongchuan Formation of China.

Ecology: carnivore

Distribution: found only at north bank of Sangbi Creek
