Type specimen: IVPP V13899, a skeleton (Skeleton missing distal forelimbs and posterior end of tail). Its type locality is Xinmin, Panxian County (IVPP), which is in a Pelsonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Guanling Formation of China.
Ecology: planktonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Xinmin, Panxian County (IVPP)
