Sister taxa: Anchomomys (Fendantia), Anchomomys (Huerzeleris), Anchomomys frontanyensis, Anchomomys gaillardi, Anchomomys latidens, Anchomomys milleri
Type specimen: BNM En 1, a mandible (right partial dentary with M1-2 and numerous alveoli). Its type locality is Egerkingen, gamma fissure, which is in a Bartonian fissure fill horizon in Switzerland.
Ecology: arboreal omnivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of Spain (1 collection), Switzerland (1)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
