Type specimen: IVPP V 8802, a mandible (right dentary fragment preserving the broken crown of P3, alveoli for P4-M1, and the crowns of M2-3). Its type locality is Gonglantou Oil Shale Mine, which is in a Lutetian mire/swamp shale/coal in the Huadian Formation of China.
Ecology: arboreal insectivore
Distribution: found only at Gonglantou Oil Shale Mine
