Belongs to Pseudoneoptychites according to O. Renz 1982
Sister taxa: Pseudoneoptychites difficilis, Pseudoneoptychites intermedius, Pseudoneoptychites venezolanus
Type specimen: Its type locality is USGS 10537. Ubaté, 45 millas al norte de Bogotá, which is in a Turonian marine horizon in the La Frontera Formation of Colombia.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of Colombia (1 collection), Venezuela (1)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
