Type specimen: RHF 813, a shell. Its type locality is McKelligon Canyon, which is in a Cassinian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal grainstone/lime mudstone in the Scenic Drive Formation of Texas.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at McKelligon Canyon
