Type specimen: a specimen in the collection of G. Winston Sinclair, a shell. Its type locality is Lake St. George quarry, which is in a Turinian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Gull River Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Lake St. George quarry
