Type specimen: CAS 4688, a shell. Its type locality is CAS Loc. 325, Usiacuri, east of [Tubará Fm], which is in a Pliocene marine siliciclastic in the Tubará Formation of Colombia.
Ecology: facultatively mobile semi-infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at CAS Loc. 325, Usiacuri, east of [Tubará Fm]
