Sister taxa: Richardsonoceras gastroscopium, Richardsonoceras gerhardi, Richardsonoceras goldmanni, Richardsonoceras sinuososeptatum

Type specimen: NRM-PZ Mo 161087, a shell. Its type locality is Hälludden cliff section (upper part of Gillberga Fm.), which is in a Hunderum/Valaste deep subtidal shelf wackestone in the Gillberga Formation of Sweden.

Ecology: fast-moving nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Hälludden cliff section (upper part of Gillberga Fm.)
