Type specimen: GSM 104393 (lectotype), a shell. Its type locality is Killey Bridge Fm. locality 1, NE of Pomeroy, which is in a Richmondian offshore mudstone/siltstone in the Killey Bridge Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
